Ashleigh was born on June 26, 1986, in Greensboro, NC, to Richard “Dick” and Marion “Jean” Crouse. She always strived for perfection. Ashleigh won multiple gold and silver medals in the Special Olympics as well as many ribbons in other contests. She even learned sign language before the age of 5. Even in her academic studies, she refused to score lower than a perfect 100 in any subject.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Ollie Mae Allred and Willard and Margaret Crouse.
Ashleigh is survived by her mother and father, Richard and Marion Crouse; brother, R. David Crouse II.; aunt, Jan Best (Jennings); and several extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point, officiated by Rev. Bill Harwell. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Church of God Body of Christ Seventh Day at 2845 Forest Park Dr. Randleman, NC 27317; or to the ARC of High Point, Private Art Classes at 153 Bellevue Dr. High Point, NC 27265.
