Ashley Kaye Joyce Johnson

Mrs. Ashley Kaye Joyce Johnson, 23, of Thomasville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 8, 2015. Ashley was born on February 1, 1992 in Davidson County to Henry Lee Joyce, Sr. and Linda McDaniel Joyce. Her children were the light of her life and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Ashley had a heart of gold, always having a smile on her face and putting others first. She especially enjoyed traveling to the beach, fishing, and playing cornhole. Surviving are her parents, Henry Lee Joyce. Sr. and Linda McDaniel Joyce, of Archdale; her husband, Gary Johnson II of the home; son, Jayden Lee Johnson; daughter, Rayleigh Kaye Johnson; sister, Wendy Joyce Outlaw and her husband Steve of Trinity; brother, Henry Lee Joyce, Jr. and his wife Alicia of High Point; grandparents, Brenda and Ronald Johnson of High Point; mother-in-law, Patty James; and numerous nephews and a very special niece. A celebration of Ashley’s life will be held at 7:30 pm Tuesday, October 13th in the chapel of Davis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:30pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to her husband, Gary.
