Beatrice Chandler Wolfe, 91, went to be with her Lord Monday, June 21, 2021 following a brief illness.
Beatrice was born in High Point, October 23, 1929, a daughter of the late Bud Chandler and Ethel Mae Brown Chandler. She was a military wife, homemaker and a devoted wife and mother. Beatrice enjoyed traveling with her family, reading and gardening. She was a strong Christian woman and was of the Baptist faith. Beatrice was preceded in death by her brother, Jarvey Chandler and a sister, Irene Hall.
Surviving are her son, Jerry Wolfe; two daughters, Linda Wolfe and Angela Kidd and husband Mike; two sisters, Ellen Hall and Shelby Davis and husband Mike; four grandchildren, Heather Hensley and husband Jason, Jonathan Sedberry and wife Angela, Tyler Kearns and Ashley Kearns; six great-grandchildren, Chase, Nathan and Lance Hensley, Joseph, Jackson and John Boone Sedberry.
A Celebration of Beatrice's life will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Sechrest-Davis Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Tony Sedberry. Burial will follow in Sunset Knoll in Ramseur. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jason, Chase, Nathan and Lance Hensley, Jonathan, Joseph and Jackson Sedberry, and Tyler Kearns.
