I'm so sad to learn, Bettye passed away. She was such a sweet, loving, always smiling lady. We were cousins, and I had not seen her since Aunt Dorothy passed away. Last time we were together we had so much fun....promising to keep in touch. She's now with Buddy who she adored, and missed so much. My deepest sympathy to her brother, and his family, and sister-in-law. Love, Jo Anne Ward Higgins.

Bettye was such a delight to be with. She was never without her smile and loved to converse with fun and laughter. Bettye was such a great cook and hostess--both at B&B and our church functions. She will be greatly missed here but we know she is now in her heavenly home.

Bettye, I know you're resting in peace now. You will be missed. We were best of friends and living just a few houses apart, we enjoyed our lives, our Birthdays, our holidays and our dinners with Bruce and your husband, Buddy. Bruce passed and when Buddy passed, we moved apart from each other, I really missed our get togethers and our close friendship. The hardest part is knowing you will no longer be with us. You're now with our families in heaven so R. I. P. lovely lady. May God Bless you and all your family and friends left that is really going to miss you! We'll see you, again, someday. We love you. Always greeting with a charming and disarming smile, Bettye used her God given gifts of hospitality and encouragement to the fullest. We miss her.
I’m confident Bettye is already greeting, welcoming, and hosting all new arrivals to our Eternal Home! We’ll see you there,
