Billy was born July 13, 1944, in Tabor City, NC, a son of the late Edgar Bridgman and Zellar Ward.
Billy was not a stranger to anyone. He was a talker and loved people. Billy was the Maintenance Supervisor for U-Haul Storage for many years. He built the U-Haul building on highway 29/70.
Billy was a great father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish Billy's legacy are his two daughters, Kathy Ball and Lynn Felts, his son Billy Joe Jr., his grandchildren and all his friends.
A visitation for Billy will be held Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 976 PHILLIPS AVE, HIGH POINT, NC 27262.
A Graveside Service for Billy will be held Monday, October 20, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Floral Garden Park Cemetery, 1730 W English Rd, High Point, NC 27262, officiated by Daniel Gardner.
