Billy Vernon Hoover

Billy was born in Davidson County, February 4, 1926, a son of the late Dewey and Maude Lambeth Hoover. He was an Army veteran of W.W. II, serving in Luzon, Philippines. Billy retired from Lilly\Guardsman Company in 1990 after many years of service. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Evelyn Hoover and two brothers, Ira Edgar Hoover and Harold Levette Hoover.

Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Lynn Hoover and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 20 at 11 a.m. at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery by Rev. Steve Jarvis, with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County. Davis Funeral Home is serving the Hoover family.
