Bill was born in Reidsville, May 16, 1930, a son of the late Henry and Lenora Wood Hubbard. He spent time in Korea, proudly serving his country as a member of the United States Army. Bill worked with Associated Sprinkler Company until his retirement. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing. Bill adored his late wife of 64 years, Juanita Everhart Hubbard. He was also preceded in death by by two sisters, Janie Bowers and Fleetwood Howington, a brother, J. W. Hubbard, and a daughter in law, Sue Hubbard. Bill was a funny man who loved good jokes. He loved his family and he was loved by all.
Surviving are two sons, Donnie Hubbard and Stevie Hubbard; two granddaughters, Molly Hubbard McDowell and her husband Chad and Sara Hubbard.
A Celebration of Bill's life will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Sechrest-Davis Chapel by the Rev. Dr. Jim Summey. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1p.m until the service.
