We were class mates, at Griffith High School, and departed our association in 1957, but we are brother and sister in Christ, and will see each other again. My deepest sympathy, to her family and friends. Don Gunter

Ms. Kimel was my supervisor, department head, and substitute mother for many years in the Radiology department at High Point Memorial and
High Point Regional Hospital. She was fiercely loyal to the department
and always obtained the equipment and support that Radiology needed
to provide the best healthcare for the community.
Carmell arranged the best Christmas luncheons that I have attended.
Everyone knew to bring plenty of her favorite, deviled eggs.
Our Radiology department transitioned from paper to computer systems
during her time and she led us through that growth.
Rest well Ms. Kimel.
