

Carolyn Williams Hall was called to Glory on May 25, 2026, to be with her husband, Johnnie, her son, Steven; parents James Carl and Viola Meade Helms Williams; seven siblings and many friends and loved ones who preceded her in death.
Carolyn was born October 5, 1935, in Union County. She moved to Charlotte as a young girl and met her future husband Johnnie as neighbors. They were married on October 14, 1955, and spent a wonderful life together until his death in 2018. The two spent wonderful fun-filled years together traveling, bridge clubs and gathering with friends.
Carolyn worked for Norton Company as an Administrative Assistant for many years but by far, her most satisfying achievement was raising her three children. Her son Mark Hall of Mooresville, Kim Hawks (Terry) of High Point and son Steven (Jenni) who preceded her in death in 2018. Carolyn has two grandsons; Miller Hall (Nicole) and Tucker Hall (Chandler) and two great-granddaughters; Mowery and Sylvia Hall.
Many thanks to the in-home hospice care nurse Meredith and CNA Kim and the compassionate staff of Hospice Home at High Point, nurses Josh, Teri, Gina and Kris, CNA's Katie, Kathy, Eliza, Savana and Tonya who provided love and support through this time. A special thank you to the Hospice Chaplain Patricia Greene who blessed the family in praying and singing to Carolyn every week during her stay.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Carolyn's name to First Presbyterian Church Choir Fund, 918 N. Main Street, High Point, NC 27262 and Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
A Memorial Service for Carolyn will be held Saturday May 30, 2026, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church officiated by Pastor David Smith. Visitation will follow immediately after the memorial service in the fellowship hall of the church.
