

Mr. Clinton J. Parker, 86, of High Point died Thursday morning, May 12, 2011 at his residence. Born October 4, 1924 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Carl Rufus and Lida Hargett Parker. He was a World War II veteran and employed by General Electric. He was a member of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Piedmont Lodge #681. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed traveling, deep sea fishing and later in life, bird watching, reading and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary M. Parker, of the residence, son, Richard Parker of Summerfield, a daughter, Carol Huff and her husband Benny Huff of Thomasville, a son that preceeded him in death, Clint Parker, Jr. formerly of Oak Ridge, a granddaughter Candice Tickle and her husband Stacy Tickle, Sr. of Thomasville, a grandson Patrick Muscatello and his wife Heather Muscatello of Thomasville, a great-granddaughter Grace Tickle, great-grandson Stacy Tickle, Jr. a great-granddaughter Madison Muscatello and great-grandson, Gabriel Muscatello.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Hospice of the Piedmont or Forest Hills Presbyterian Church in High Point.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 16th at 3:00pm at Forest Hills Presbyterian with a reception immediately following in the Fellowship Hall.
