Dallas Stafford Duncan

Mrs. Dallas Stafford Duncan, 90, went to be with her Lord Sunday, May 31, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Duncan was born in Colfax, June 27, 1924, a daughter of the late Charles E. Stafford and Lelur Pitts Stafford. Dallas was a member of Northwood United Methodist Church for many years and a current member of Sandy Ridge United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilson Duncan, three sons, Ronnie, Charles and Jimmy Duncan and six siblings. Dallas was a loving and caring person to her family and many friends. Surviving are a daughter, Deloris Wright and husband Donald, two sons, Donald Duncan and wife Reba and Bernard Duncan and wife Jo Ann; nine grandchildren, Jason, Chris, Bryan, Margo, Dale, Toby, Quinn, Jared, and Jeremey; numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Dallas’s Life will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Davis Funerals and Cremations Chapel by Rev. Bobby Stafford and Pastor Drew Hellams. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the service. Memorials may be directed to Sandy Ridge United Methodist Church or Hospice of the Piedmont.
