Diane Grace Walker

Diane Walker truly lived life to the fullest as she touched many lives and was loved by all who met her. Diane had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She was one of the most faithful, loving, exuberant people you may have known. She shared 40 years of marriage to her loving husband Patrick Walker, whom she truly loved and adored. Diane passed away on November 19, 2019.

Diane Walker was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 25, 1953, to the late Robinson Jenkins and her mother Jacqueline Craig. Diane leaves to cherish her life, her beloved husband Patrick Walker; her three sisters, Judith Stanford, Robin Robinson and Geraldine Robinson (deceased); two children, Frederick and Nicole Guions; daughter-in-law Kadidra Guions; step-children, Keisha, Kerria, and William Walker; grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Guions, Taylor LeAnne Caldwell, Ashlynn Joy and Alivia Grace Guions; and her great-granddaughter Blair Guions; her aunt and uncle, Geraldine and Willie Braxton; life-time loving sister Rosemary Hughes; nieces, Cheron Gray and LaRoya Bell; and nephew, Desmond Brown.

There will be two Celebrations of Lifes for Diane. The first service will be Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Destiny Christian Church, 2401 Randleman Road, Greensboro, North Carolina 27406 at 12 noon. The second service will be Friday, December 6, 2019 at Abundant Life Family Worship, 259 George Street, New Brunswick, New Jersey 08901 at 10 am.

Biography

Diane Grace Walker “a designer’s original made by God and for God”, lived life engaging and anticipating each day of life. She walked by faith with grace as an entrance of a new day. She would often speak of God’s tremendous love which she exemplified. When engaging with people one of her mantras was, “there is nothing you could do to make God love you more”, while leaning in with her eyes filled with tears, she would then reassure saying “God is madly in love with you”.


Her aura drew so many people to her. Surely if you’ve been in her presence you would have experienced her ability to draw you close. As a minister, she embodied reconciliation in harmony with the Word of God. Diane’s constant position in life was to restore the broken-hearted and those who were crushed in their spirit. She exuded Psalm 34:18. She previously served as a Minster at Abundant Life Family Worship Church, in New Brunswick, NJ and most recently serving at Destiny Christian Center, in Greensboro, NC, in Heir Force Ministry, Inner Healing and VIP.


She was favored by so many opportunities to bring excellence and creativity at various jobs she held. From, being a licensed interior designer, sales and entrepreneurship which she enjoyed immensely. She has left a legacy on this earth and has impacted the lives of so many and will be greatly missed.
