A native of High Point, Donna graduated from High Point Central High School in 1963 and attended High Point College for a short time. She was a loyal and devoted employee of High Point Regional Hospital and retired after many years of service as Medical Records Supervisor. Always desiring to be stylish and fashionable, shopping was a favorite pastime. She enjoyed spoiling herself and those she loved. Her gentle, easy-going spirit will be missed by many.
Donna is survived by her son and daughter in law, Kenneth and Rhonda Grimsley. She treasured her grandsons, Jackson and Carson, and she took pride in being their GiGi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Allene Coggins. Donna dedicated many years to caring for her parents and what a sweet reunion it will be.
A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 976 Phillips Avenue, High Point, NC 27262 on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 6:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Steve Smith. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.
