Doris Fowler Bevil

On June 9th, 2026, we had to endure the significant amount of pain that we are now trying to learn how to deal with the loss of her. She went to heaven surrounded by her daughters, Sandra and Keighla Yaskiewicz, Misti Pearson and her granddaughter Lexi Beck at home.

Her hobbies included reading, exercising, doing crafts, cooking and playing games to keep her mind active.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandi Yaskiewicz (Keighla) and Misti Pearson; her grandchildren, Amber Dodd (Blake), Frankie Mabe, Christian Honeycutt (Kali), Peter Lake (Amber), Katherine Bowman and Madison Adkins; her sister, Johnnie Springette (Dave); her brother-in-law, Larry Washam; and many nieces and nephews who loved their “Aunt Darcey” so much.

Preceded in Doris’s death was her husband, Stephen; her daughter, Christina Michelle Yaskiewicz; her three sisters, Linda Washam, Patsy Elliot, and Susie Culler; and her granddaughter, Lexi Beck.

Doris was loved by everyone she met. She was such a caring person and will be missed tremendously by family and friends. She left to soon as she was due to be a great grandmother in August.

The family invites you to attend her celebration of life Saturday June 20, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home 976 Phillips Avenue High Point, NC as we unite as a family that loved Doris with all our hearts.
