Doris Hill Hicks, 94, gained her heavenly reward on Monday, September 12, 2016, after being in declining health for years. Doris was born on May 25, 1922 to Lemuel Robert and Lelia Maie Hill. She was married to Jack Hicks, who preceded her in death. She and Jack had one daughter, Shirley Hicks Perry, who also preceded her in death. Surviving are granddaughter, Stephanie Perry; brother, Ned Hill; sister, Daisy Jacobs; and special nephew, Gary Robbins. A graveside service will be held at Floral Garden Park Mausoleum on Thursday, September 15 at 11 am. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
