I first met Ms. Irene when I started attending church at Southside Baptist. She was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever had the joy of knowing. She always had a warm hug and beautiful smile everytime I saw her. I haven't seen Ms. Irene in awhile but know that I will see her again one day in Heaven. For those of you that didn't know her, all you need to do is be around her granddaughter Teresa King for just awhile. I am blessed to have Teresa as a friend. She too has that same warm hug and beautiful smile. Praying God's mercy and peace will be with the family during this time.

We enjoyed many July 4th celebrations at her home sitting in the yard kids running and playing while watching fireworks. Precious sweet lady

Dear Family, Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Ruffin I feel I know her sincerely through the many conversations I have had with Teresa and Hannah. I saw the love through their expressions , especially when they talked about her faith. We now know how much God truely loved her by relieving her of her pain and suffering in his own time, My thoughts and prayers contine for the family and I rejoice in knowing she is resting in the arms of our creator. Love, Debbie Hanes
