Mrs. Evelyn P Pearson Blair

Mrs. Blair was born in Goldsboro, the daughter of the late Clifton and Ruby Pearson. She graduated from Guilford College and for several years, was a teacher in the Allen Jay and High Point City Schools. She was a piano teacher for 10 years. In 1945, Evelyn was married to Charles E. Blair.

As a member of High Point Friends Meeting, she served as an organist for several years, clerk of ministry and counsel, as a music teacher in the kindergarden, and as a teacher of three adult Sunday school classes. She was a volunteer at Urban Ministry of High Point, serving as a counselor and on the contact phones for three years.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Blair Miller.

Surviving are Charles P. Blair, Robin Blair, Robert L. Murray Blair III, two grandchildren, Will and Katelyn.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4th at High Point Friends Meeting.
