Faye was born in High Point, August 14, 1937, a daughter of Vernon and Eva Prevo Morrison. She worked in the furniture industry most of her life and was of the Baptist faith. Faye was preceded in death by her husband, James Cunningham; two sons, Ricky and Randy Young, and five siblings. Faye loved NASCAR, the Carolina Panthers and she was an avid Jeff Gordon fan. Faye was a loving wife and mother who especially enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter, LaDonna Buck; a grandson, Philip Buck; a granddaughter, Miranda Young; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Parker Buck; a sister, Shirley Lamm and a brother, Roger Morrison.
Graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Floral Garden Park Cemetery by Pastor Ken Fowler. The family will receive friends at Davis Funerals and Cremations Monday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont.
