Jerry was a jeweler who loved his work He was an appraiser and enjoyed repairing and refurbishing old clocks, using artwork and parts to update them. He worked at Schiffmans’s Jewelers, and Perkinson’s Jewelers in High Point. He then opened his own successful appraisal business offering Jewelry appraisals Jerry married Elaine Miles Huddy on January 27, 1957, who survives of the home.
Jerry is also survived by his two sons; Michael V. Huddy and Stephen P. Huddy (Angela Gail); two grandchildren; Nicole Elaine (Huddy) Clark and Jordan Matthew Huddy; Seven great-grandchildren, Elijah Adam Beaver, Madison A. Clark, Cyrus Clark, Natalie Clark, Alana Clark, Carter Clark and Colby Clark. Jerry was predeceased by two brothers; Richard Huddy and Dale Huddy.
A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will be Saturday at 3p in the Chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 976 Phillips Avenue, High Point, North Carolina. The family will receive friends from 2p-3p before the service.
