Harold was born June 7th, 1938 in Forsyth County, a son of the late James M. and Blanche Wood Coble. In his early years he moved to High Point, where worked for several companies before becoming employed by D. H. Griffin, where he enjoyed working for the next twenty one years until forced to retire due to his health. An avid golfer, Harold was a member of the High Point Senior Golf Association. Harold loved the beach, especially when he and Marilyn went to the Bahamas. In addition to his parents, Harold was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Coble. He was a friend of “Bill W.” and was a member of the Sunday Morning Group at the Club. On June 7th, 1986 he married Marilyn Carmichael who survives of the home.
