My parents were friends of Hazel and Diamond for many years.
We all moved out to Willow Creek (to the "new" side as it was called) along with other friends like the Darbys, Lawsons, and Barbors. Hazel was a good friend to all of our family. She gave me a wedding shower. I helped her rent out her house in High Point during the furniture market. We all helped eachother. I was impressed that Hazel had her own business back then in the late 70s. I know you guys will miss her terribly. Our faith teaches us that heaven is a better place. We all have that hope to get us through these tough times.

Hazel Carter was a woman ahead of her time, who was also a product of her times. She gave the world two wonderful sons whose music, humanity, friendship, creativity, and hard work have meant so much to so many. When my wife and I came into her life as we became close friends with Danny and Tim around 15 years ago, she always treated us with warmth, kindness, attention and love. She was so proud of her boys and was so thrilled that Tim brought Cindy into the family. She is already missed and our hearts and prayers and hugs go out to Danny, Tim, Cindy and all who were touched by Hazel's remarkable life.

I was so sorry to hear this news! I can remember dance party’s at your mom and Dads house along with the Bohlers and the Ponds. Harlan always thought the best of Hazel and Diamond. I was so lucky to see her again when Dad passed. It takes time but it will get easier. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My dear lifelong friends.......I’m so saddened by your sweet Mom’s passing, but I’m thrilled at the same time knowing that she’s right where she wanted to be....hugging up on her Diamond. I’m positive that all the Lawsons were there to greet her as well! I pray y’all will find comfort in knowing she’s in a far better place and totally whole again! We love you so very much and we will continue to carry you close in our hearts and prayers ❣️🙏

I'll never forget meeting the Carter parents . They were glowing, with all the excitement of proud parents as their son's were about to take the stage of RASCAL'S, they slayed the crowd. Both Diamond and Hazel gave me a big hug Before they left that night so happy and loved being there. They were so amazing and generous with their heart's. Blessed to have known both of Dan and Tim's family.

Dearest Danny, Timmy, Cindy and Abby,
There are no words to express my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your Mother. Hazel impacted so many lives, with her beauty, love, compassion and her humor. I know how much she loved her boys and how proud she was of you both. Hazel shines bright today as a beautiful angel, side by side with Diamond again. God bless and comfort you in the days ahead. She will remain in your hearts forever.
