Jim was born in Pickens SC and was the loving husband to Eunice Smith Couch for 57 years.
He was the son of the late, Walter Alonzo and Bura Powell Couch.
Survivors include daughter Krystal Couch Wolfe; Grandchildren Jessica White, Dustin Terry (Ambre), Victoria and Annah Wolfe; Great-grandson Keelan White; Sister Peggy Brown; Brother Randy Couch (MariLou).
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Glen and Jerry Couch and a Daughter Keela Couch White.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 25 at First Baptist Church, 405 N. Main St. High Point NC. Visitation will be held at 2 PM followed by the service at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church of High Point or The American Cancer Society.
