James Michael Poore died on Thursday, May 12, 2011. He was born on September 16, 1943 to the late Carl Lee and Ruth Poovey Poore. He graduated in 1961 from High Point Senior High School and also a private school in Daytona Beach, Florida in 1963 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting. He was of Lutheran faith and retired as a project accountant for Foster Wheeler.
Mr. Poore is survived by a nephew, David Cooke and wife Carol of Greenville, SC and dear friends, Don and Linda Hoosier of High Point.
