Jerry was born September 1, 1950, in Allendale County, South Carolina; a son of the late Horace W. Duncan and Dorothy Rosier. Jerry retired from being the Vice President of Scaffolding Solutions Construction. Jerry's love language was loving you through his cooking. He enjoyed planning and preparing a feast for the holidays, birthdays, and all occasions. You never left his home hungry. Jerry enjoyed being the center of attention. He loved dancing, being a jokester, quick witted, and the life of the party!
He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and a true friend to all. Jerry will be greatly missed.
Preceding Jerry's death was his daughter, Jerri Renee Duncan and two brother-in-laws, Richard Lankford and Kenneth Parker.
Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years, Carol Duncan, a daughter, Kimberly (Kurt)Held, his brother, Horace (Sarah) Duncan Jr., five grandchildren; Kyndle Cornell (Donnie), Kyle Held (Christina), Koral Cockerham (Cory), Kavanna Held Cottrell (Brandon) and Kruze Held, three great-grandchildren; Lorelai Cornell, Kason Held and Oakley Cockerham, two nieces Dr. Elizabeth D. Alva (Adam) and Kellie Smith (Lucas), three nephews, Joseph M. Duncan, Greg Lankford (Sarah), and Jay Parker; two sister-in-laws, Fay Lankford and Carolyn Parker.
