He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Hill and son Robert Hicks.
He is survived by his children Joe Hill, Edward Hill, Stephanie Baker, Lisa Medlin, Rita Bass, Candice Allen and Michael Hicks as well had several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Barry was known by many as a gentle and loving man. No one was a stranger around him. Barry loved to make people laugh with his quick wit and humor.
