John C. Bell, Jr., 55, passed away suddenly on April 22, 2021 in High Point.
John entered the world on December 20, 1965 to the late John C. Bell and Jerry Jeanette Mooring. Born in Gaffney, SC, John grew up in Goldsboro, NC. He was a 1985 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School, where he played on the varsity football team. John was a master carpenter who could design and build almost anything. He was loved by everyone, he never met a stranger. He always ended his conversations with his kind smile saying, “Have a good day!” He was a simple and humble man. He loved his family, his work, NASCAR, and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed playing disc golf and helping others with their construction projects.
John is preceded in death by his father John C. Bell, his mother Jerry Jeanette Mooring Joyner and grandmother Ada Massey Mooring.
John is survived by his loving partner Cindy Manning, his daughter Madison (Paul) Edgington; grandchildren Mason, Grayden, and soon-to-be Baby Edgington. John is also survived by his aunt, Mary Frank Keller; cousin, Renee (Dave) Stewart, their 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially by his beloved dog, Jasmine.
Per his request, no services will be held. Memorials may be directed to the A.S.P.C.A. as this held a special place to John's heart for animals.
