There will be a memorial service at First Presbyterian Church of High Point at 3pm on Saturday, December 1st to celebrate Johnnie’s life. Visitation will follow immediately after the memorial service in the fellowship hall of the church.
Johnnie was born March 21st, 1932 in Troy, NC to Georgie and Lindo Hall. He graduated from Oakhurst High School, Charlotte, NC in 1951. He attended NC State University following serving 2 years in the Army in Alaska during the Korean Conflict.
He married Carolyn Williams in Charlotte, NC on Oct. 14th, 1955. Together they raised their three beloved children in Charlotte, Thomasville and High Point, NC.
He was employed as the Plant Manager of Tridyn Plastic Pipe and Fittings Company in Colfax, NC upon his retirement.
Johnnie is survived by his wife, Carolyn; son Mark Hall of Lake Norman; daughter Kim Hawks (husband Terry who was Johnnie’s “best friend”) of High Point; daughter-in-law, Jenni Mowery Hall (Steven’s wife) of High Point; grandsons, Miller Hall (Nicole) of Herndon, VA and Tucker Hall of East Carolina University at Greenville, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Johnnie’s name to First Presbyterian Church Covenant Choir Fund, 918 North Main Street, High Point, NC 27262.
