Joyce Glasscoe Craven

Joyce Glasscoe Craven, 71, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Hospice Home at High Point. Joyce was born on September 16, 1945 in High Point to Homer Clyde Glasscoe Sr. and Margie Estelene Kennedy Glasscoe. She was a member of Community Evangelical Methodist Church for several years.

Joyce was preceded in death by her father; one sister, Connie Lucille Glasscoe; and two brothers, Homer (Buddy) Glasscoe Jr. and David Alan Glasscoe.

She is survived by her mother, Margie Estelene Kennedy Glasscoe; son, Jeffrey Craven; grandson, Michael Craven; sisters-in-laws, Brenda Glasscoe Hedgecock (Michael) and Dianne Glasscoe Watterson (David); nephews, Scott R. Glasscoe of Washington DC, Terry Glasscoe of Highland, NC and Brad Glasscoe of Lexington NC; and a very special cousin and caretaker, Gwen Harris (Reid).

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, October 28th at Davis Funeral Home in High Point with entombment following at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point. The family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27 from 6pm to 8pm.
