Katherine was a loving wife, mother and friend to all who knew her. She was devout Christian and loved her Lord and Savior. She was a longtime member of North Pointe Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she enjoyed serving in the nursery. She loved all children and saw them as a gift from God. Katherine also found joy in playing the piano and tending to her flower garden. She loved her flowers.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Waylon Tucker; and daughters, Pamela Berger and Beverly Lyons and husband Curtis as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her, son; Timothy Scott Tucker; two brothers, Junior and Richard Frasure and one sister, Sally “Peggy” Hager.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 pm on Friday, October 24, at North Pointe Pentecostal Holiness Church, 5225 High Point Road, High Point, NC 27265. Burial will follow in Lebanon Church Cemetery in High Point.
The family will greet friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the church.
