

He graduated from Trinity High School in 1955. Ken coached and umpired many little league teams throughout the years. He was also over Archdale-Trinity Senile Seniors Golf League.
Ken was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. He was a member of Caraway Baptist Church in Sophia. Ken also loved singing in nursing homes and churches. His career stared at Reliance and he later retired from Lilly Coating.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice and Bud Proctor; and two grandsons Joshua and David.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of sixty years, Louise Peele Proctor; sons, Ronnie Proctor (Linda) of Lexington, Jerry Proctor (Trudy) of Hillsville, and Tim Proctor (Carmen) of Asheboro; grandchildren, Amber, Alex and Lori; great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Jake, Bladen, Braxten, and Zachary; sisters, Peggy Berrier, Nancy King, and Jean Ashburn.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 30, at Davis Funeral Home in High Point, with Pastor Freddy Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Garden in High Point. The family will be accepting visitors from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Davis Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, Ken request donations be made to Brenner’s Children’s Hospital Fund at 1 Medical Center Blvd. Winston-Salem NC 27157.
