Kent Macy Borum, 70, a former resident of High Point, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Elevate Health & Rehab following many years of declining health.
Kent was born in Greensboro, July 25, 1955, a son of the late Macy and Doris Borum. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Kurt Borum. He graduated from Ragsdale High School and attended High Point College, where he excelled in mathematics. Kent enjoyed sports and was an avid NC State Wolfpack fan.
Surviving are a sister in law, Mary Gay Borum; a nephew, Andy Borum; a niece, Katy Borum and several extended family members.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Deep River Friends Cemetery. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Elevate and two special caregivers, Tammy Whited and Rose McClure. Memorials may be directed to Deep River Friends Meeting.
