As a 21 year old I had the distinct honor and pleasure of meeting Lee in early 1977 when we both worked for the IRS in Houston, Texas.

The most delightful, gregarious, warm and affable young lady that I've ever had the pleasure of getting to know.

Lee (I always referred to her as Mrs. Hickle, for which she would jokingly scold me) was always somewhere between outrageously funny to exceedingly friendly to simply brilliant.

Always a joy and a pleasure.

Last spoke with her in 2005, I believe, when she still lived at Eagle's Trace. Unfortunately lost contact and did not know if she had gone back to North Carolina or not.

Shall miss her, and once I stop being so emotional, I'll always think of her in  a loving manner.

I'm so sorry to hear about Lee.  She was a great friend of the family and, without her, I would not be who I am. After all, Lee's the one who found -- and returned -- a little 5-year-old girl who was 'lost-ed' in Memorial Bend.
