Lillian Colleen Allen Vaughn

Colleen retired from Jefferson-Pilot Life after many years of dedicated service. She also served and was a member at Oak View UMC and later at Lebanon UMC. Colleen loved working in her garden and shared her bounty with friends and family.

Colleen is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60+ years, Bobby Middleton Vaughn; daughter, Cammie Ann Vaughn Ashby; and siblings, Thurman Jones Allen and Frances Jacklyn Allen.

Colleen is survived by nieces Patricia Patteson (Randy), Susan Ford and Christy Allen, nephew David Allen (Pam) and cousins Nelson Smith and Sue Kaynor (Bob). Also, Friend and Caregiver, Jerri Ann and special friends Billie and Karen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Colleen’s name to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.

A visitation for Colleen will take place on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations, 1301 E Lexington Ave, High Point, NC. A funeral service will follow at 12:30pm in the Sechrest-Davis Chapel; The Rev. Robert Kaynor officiating. Burial will take place at Lebanon UMC Cemetery of High Point.
