Linda was born June 10, 1948 in Walker County, AL, the only daughter of Bazzie C. Letson and Joyce Dobbins Letson. A very compassionate soul, Linda dedicated her spare time working with several charities and caretaking for any animal in need. Her passions included horses, Native American culture, gardening and antiquing. Linda was preceded in death by her father.
Surviving are a daughter, Rhoda Basham and husband David; a son, Lee Collins and wife Karen; her mother; five brothers, Tim, Terry, Bazzie Jr., Tony and Randy Letson; and several nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, May 17 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Davis Funerals and Cremations. Memorials should be directed to the Guilford County Animal Shelter.
