Trinity, NC Linda Carol Steffey Barnhill, 34, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at her residence. Linda was born in High Point, a daughter of Eddie Steffey and Carolyn Thompson. Linda was a loving wife, mother and daughter. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially the mountains and the beach. Surviving are her husband, Ian Barnhill; four children, Alexandria Barnhill, Amber Barnhill, Dalton Hartle and Dailyn Hartle; her mother, Carolyn Thompson and companion Steven Eddy; her father, Eddie Steffey and wife Sue; fathers and mothers in law, Kirk and Judy Knapp and Tony and Sharon Barnhill; two brothers, Mark Steffey and wife Christina and Robert Lamm and wife Samantha Carter; brothers in law, Matt Barnhill and wife Jennifer and Jason Barnhill and wife Sabrina; sisters in law, Stacie Mckenzie and husband Kenny, and Tonya Mason and husband Darin. A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 4 until 7 p.m. at the home of Jason and Sabrina Barnhill. Arrangements by Davis Funerals and Cremations.
