Lu Cindy Lea Haymore
August 1, 1967 – April 5, 2018
Lu Cindy Lea Haymore, 50, of Kernersville, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Baptist Hospital.
Cindy was born on August 1, 1967 to Doris and James Haymore. She graduated from Ledford High School in 1986 and later attended Chatham County Community College's Veterinary Program in Sanford. Prior to her illness, she was employed with Emerywood Veterinary Hospital in High Point. She was a compassionate and loving person who loved animals and was a collector of Star Wars Memorabilia. Cindy was also an avid fan of NASCAR, the Atlanta Braves, and UNC Tarheels.
She was preceded in death by her mother Doris, step-mother, Gladys Haymore, and brother, Jeff Haymore.
Surviving are her father, James Haymore, Sr. of High Point; sister, Jimmi Williams and husband Ken of Greensboro; two brothers, Bruce Haymore and wife Debbie of Jamestown and James Haymore, Jr. of Archdale; two nieces, April Williams of Greensboro and Marie Welch and husband Mark of High Point; one nephew, Zack Williams and wife Jennifer of Delaware; two great nephews, Nathan and Andrew Williams of Delaware; her beloved dogs, "Littleman" and "Babygirl"; and longtime friend, Paulette Wilkie.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in the chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service on E. Lexington Avenue with Rev. Michael Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Monday, April 9, 2018 at Sechrest Funeral Service on E. Lexington Avenue.
Memorial contributions may directed to the American Kidney Foundation or to a local animal shelter of the donor's choice.

I meet Cindy at HPF. She was the Daughter I didn't have. She always called me Mom. My heart is hurting so bad. Cindy had so much Love, Caring & Helping others. Cindy will always be my ShotGun Rider. I pray her FurBabies will be taking care of, she Loved them so very much. I pray that God holds her family in his loving arms in their sad time of loss. worked with Cindy years ago at HIGH POINT FURNITURE. Several times a year a group of us would rent a beach house and had long weekend trips at Long Beach. Good times, good friend and lots of great memories. She was a sweet loving person and will be greatly missed!!

I was blessed to know Cindy. I always enjoyed working with her and shared her love for animals. Cindy was a very caring person. My thoughts a prayers go out to everyone that knew her. She will be greatly missed.
