Mrs. Margie Suits Cox, 89, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the GrayBrier Nursing & Rehab following several years of declining health.

Margie was born in High Point, February 19, 1929 a daughter of the late Ernest Suits and Floy Kidd Suits. She worked at Crown Hosiery and Amos Hosiery for many years. Margie enjoyed the beach and lived at Ocean Isle after her retirement for several years. She loved Sunday dinners with her family! Margie enjoyed mowing her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daryl H. Cox, three sisters, Margaret Reddick, her twin, Grace Lewis and Opal "Sis" Johnson; her brother, Omer "Bud" Suits.

Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Boyles and husband Chris; a son, Michael Cox; three grandchildren, Amber Harrison and husband Rob, Bryant Boyles and Alex Cox and wife Jennifer; six great-grandchildren; sister in law, Gilda Scott and a very dear and special friend, Becky Brown.

A Celebration of Margie's life will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Floral Garden Park Cemetery by Pastor Tommy Thompson. The family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. A special thanks to those who cared for Margie while she was at GrayBrier Nursing & Rehab.
