

Andrew was born on May 14, 1990 in Cleveland, TN to Mark Sweitzer and Melissa McKinney. He was a graduate of Bradley Central High School and the EMT program of Cleveland State Community College. He was enrolled at GTCC, where he was pursuing his degree in Physical Therapy and was currently the Operations Manager at Guaranteed Supply Company in Winston-Salem.
Andrew’s smile was contagious. He was a kind and compassionate soul who never met a stranger. From a young age, he had a love for water, always enjoying traveling to the beach and fishing. Through and through, he bleed Tennessee orange and white and loved any Volunteers sporting event. Andrew lived life to the fullest and loved nature and animals.
Surviving are his parents, Mark Sweitzer and his wife Dana of Cleveland, TN and Melissa McKinney and her husband Dean of Julian; sisters, Ashley Sweitzer and her fiancé Andy Skipper of King, NC and Alicia Sweitzer and her fiancé John King of King, NC; two brothers, Alex and Seth Hall of Cleveland, TN; stepbrother, Cole McKinney of McLeansville, NC; great grandmother, Dorothy Pate of Griffin, GA; grandmother Christin Colloms and her husband Larry of Cleveland, TN; grandfather, David Sweitzer and his wife Donna of Maryville, TN; granny, Shirley Brammer; uncles Travis Luck and wife Angela of High Point, NC, Michael Sweitzer and his wife Jamie of Thomasville, NC, Frank Pate, and Lindy Pate, both of Chattanooga, TN. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Abbigal Sweitzer, Aydden Cherry, Austin Coppley, Ashton Coppley, Ashlynne Coppley, Aryanna King; cousins, Tyler Purgason, Jacob Luck, Nicholas Sweitzer, Priscilla Sweitzer, and Austin Glisson;and special friends, Michael and Lee Chau,Travis Moses, Dianté Willis, and loving girlfriend, Dawn Wilson.
A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held at 7 pm Thursday, June 9th in the chapel of Davis Funerals and Cremations, 976 Phillips Avenue, High Point. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Wednesday, June 8th at the funeral home.
A second service will be held at 3 pm Saturday, June 11th at South Cleveland Church of God in Cleveland, TN. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
