Mary Villa Dunn, 75, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Thomasville Medical Center following a brief illness.

Mary was born in Johnstown, PA, July 6, 1942, a daughter of the late Jesus Villa and Mary Servantez Villa. She worked at Westchester Manor for many years and was a member of Renaissance Road Church in Jamestown. Mary had a strong faith in God. She was loved by many and she loved them in return. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Martinez; two sisters, Josephine Duncan and Patricia Villa; two brothers, Joseph (Punda) Villa and Ralph Gutierrez; a granddaughter, Autumn Martinez; and a sister in law, Debbie Villa.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary Theresa Carnahan and husband Todd Davenport and Melanie Martinez; two sisters, Margaret Morales and husband Rudy and Darlene Jezeskie and husband Ed; two brothers, John Villa and wife Linda and Robert Villa; six grandchildren, Kenneth Carnahan, Jr., Jonathan Carnahan, James Carnahan, Bryan Davenport, Michael Martinez and Joseph Gainey, Jr.; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Mary’s life will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Davis Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Jason Goins. The family will receive friends following the service until 5 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Renaissance Road Church, 5114 Harvey Rd., Jamestown, NC 27282.
