Nancy K. Godsey

Born April 5, 1939, in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Joe and Daisy Peake Kinder and later married her late husband, Larry. Nancy and Larry went on to build a lifelong partnership of 69 years.

Nancy was employed at High Point Regional Hospital as a Registered Nurse where she received her Intravenous Nurses Certification.

Throughout the years she enjoyed her fellowship with the many members of her church, Joy Community Fellowship Church. Her leisure time was spent caring for her 3 feral cats and at the beach getaway in Garden City, SC.

Nancy is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Martin and husband Jim, Myrtle Beach, SC; Tina Richardson and husband Chuck, Fishersville, VA; and one sister, Betty Boyles, Bluefield, WV.

A Celebration of Nancy’s life will be held in the Chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations, 976 Phillips Avenue, High Point, NC 27262 on Saturday, October 10th at 1:00pm, officiated by Rev Robert Ferguson.

In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to Joy Community Fellowship Church, PO Box 4400 Archdale, NC 27263.
