Mrs. Nancy Hudspeth Scott, 94, a former resident of High Point, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Brian Center. Mrs. Scott was born in Yadkin County, February 24, 1921, a daughter of Henry and Julia Vanhoy Hudspeth. She retired from area cotton and furniture companies and was of the Holiness faith. She was preceded in death by two husbands, two children and nine siblings. Surviving are a daughter, Judy Wilcox and husband John; a son, Billy Lawrence and wife Judy, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice. Davis Funerals and Cremations is serving the family.
