Mrs. McLaughlin was the daughter of Elwood and Ella Newby Farlow. She was preceded in death by her husband Ola Haskill (Mac) McLaughlin, two sisters and six brothers.
She is survived by nieces Ann Barnes and Jo Coble of Asheboro, Millie Brown of Cartersville, GA, Marian Shearhouse of Panama City, FL, Annette Thompson of Pembroke, NH and nephew Thomas Farlow of Ellabell, GA.
Mrs. McLaughlin worked as a bookkeeper for Wood Armfield Furniture in High Point for 20 years. She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church for over 70 years.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 3:00pm at Floral Garden Memorial Park in High Point. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009.
