High Point- Nixon Ingram Bingham, 95, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Westchester Harbour.

Nixon was born July 10, 1924 in Denton, NC to Allen Greene Bingham and Martha Ingram Bingham. He graduated High Point College and proudly served in the United States Navy. On October 15, 1950 Nixon married the love of his life, Mae Chapman in Winston Salem. He worked for Fli-Back Toy company for twenty five years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Maxum Bingham and sister Frances Moriarty.

Nixon is survived by his loving wife of sixty nine years, Mae Bingham; daughters, Emily Forro and Susan Albright (Mark); grandchildren Kyle Albright and Josh Albright; and sister Yvonne Lloyd.

The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point. A funeral service will follow at 2 pm in the Chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service with Rev. Dr. Jeff Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be sent to The American Cancer Society- Greensboro Chapter at 7027 Albert Pick Road Se. 104 Greensboro, NC 27409.

I was so sorry to learn of Nixon's passing. I enjoyed getting to know Nixon & Mae by being their neighbor. One of my favorite memories is being with them in the laundry room & witnessing their love-in-motion.

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Nixon’s passing. I wasn’t around him alot, but I always thought of him as the nicest man.
