Mrs. Patty Whitt Knight, 69, passed away November 19, 2020 following several years of declining health.
Patty was born in Guilford County, May 2, 1951, a daughter of the late Charles and Edna Maxine Coltrane Whitt. She was last employed as the manager of Wendy’s. Patty was a member of Old Union United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading, the beach and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Terry Beasley and Clarence “Red” Knight; her daughter, Michelle Breedlove and a step-son, Clarence Edwin Knight, Jr.
Surviving are a grandson, Austin Breedlove; a granddaughter, Mallory Jones; a brother, Mike Edward Whitt; two step-daughters, Bonnie Anthony (Mike) and Beth Young; two step-sons, Charles Ray Knight and Barry Knight (Leslie); four step-grandchildren, Justin Appenzeller, Rachel Anthony, Aaron Young and Zach Knight.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Old Union United Methodist Church. Davis Funeral Home is assisting the family.
