Paul Harry Savvas, age 71, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023.
Paul was born in Greenwood, SC, February 14, 1952, a son of Harry and Mary Savvas. He was a graduate of High Point Central High School and UNC Chapel Hill. Paul worked for Drexel Heritage for many years. He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church. Paul loved his dog, Bobby and listening to music. He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Marcus Savvas.
Surviving in addition to his mother is a sister, Danay Savvas; a brother, Konnie Savvas and his wife Debra; two nieces, Julia and Sarah and a nephew, Harry.
A Trisagion service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St George Greek Orthodox Church by Father Anton Frunza with the funeral service to follow at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Guilford County Animal Shelter.
