Polly Bingham was an icon of Wesley Memorial UMC. It was so obvious she loved her church and her Lord. We learned a great deal from her, and she was always sharing a wonderful story.! God bless her family and comfort them and know she was a treasure to others.

My Grandma Byerly was good friends with Polly and her mother. Sometimes we would walk over to visit and I did so enjoy looking at Polly's treasures. After I married, my husband and I built a home beside Polly's home in Thomasville. There were lots of good memories. So sorry for your loss but remember God is always with you. Sherry Grimes Sharp

I always enjoyed chatting with Polly when visiting the Emporium and Side Street Cafe. A conversation with Polly always brightened my day as we would talk about antiques, the daily lunch special, and life in the Raleigh area. Polly -- a true treasure!

What a blessing she was, and a wonderful aunt! We enjoyed seeing her at the Emporium during her later years, and I have warm remembrances of her as I was growing up. She was a lady of boundless kindness and energy. Prayers and condolences to Pamela, Randolph and all your children.
