Rebecca Ann Hughes, age 65, of Sophia, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.

Rebecca was born May 24,1958 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Ralph Francis and Ellen Jean Sisler Shipplett. Rebecca worked as a customer service representative in banking and insurance.

Surviving are her husband of 20 long years, Ronald Hughes, two daughters, Alisha Murray Claussen of Hillsborough, NC and Jennifer Rena Hughes, one son, Scotty Allen Pritchard of Hillsborough,NC, one brother, Michael Ray Shipplett of Roxboro, NC and two grandchildren, Cameron Latermilt and Tyler Latermilt of Randleman, NC.
