Ricky was born in High Point, NC on June 13, 1952 to the late H.H (Bill) and Myrtle Moose Staton. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in May, 1974.
His children Misty Staton Denny and Christopher Staton survive him. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Levi, Maysan, Kadin and Bentley, sisters Dolores (Dee) Poston and Elizabeth (John) Scragg, nieces, nephews and his beloved dog Spot.
A Memorial Service is planned for Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 11:00 am in the chapel at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point.
