A family man who loved his outdoor sports. Spent many years as an altar boy and Catholic Youth Leader. Was a current member of Covenant United Methodist Church. A veteran of the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Worked for US Air as both a mechanic and an inspector of the aircrafts for 15 years before retiring.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents.
Robert is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon Turner Fratus; daughter Nicole Luther (Jonathan); son Shaun Fratus; grandchildren, Corbin Luther, Cullen Luther, Cash Fratus and Noah Fratus; sister Virginia Morrison; and brother Paul Fratus.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N Michigan Avenue, FL 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
A gathering of friends and family for Robert will take place on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 2:00pm to 4:30pm at the Fratus residence, 533 Dogwood Court, High Point, NC 27260.
