On May 7th, 2020, God called Robert Dylan Hagood home to join the angels. He was born May 23rd 1980 in Sumter, South Carolina. Dylan was the beloved son of Donna Kinsey, Steve Kinsey, and Bobby Hagood; treasured grandson of Doris Haithcock, Marian Hagood, James and Eleanor Kinsey.

Proud and loving father to Xavier, Kera, Amya, and Nate. Cherished brother to Mandy, Kayla (Nick), and Steven. Dylan was also loved and will be remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

We have faith that Dylan is at his new heavenly home, reunited with his great-grandmother Geneva (MaMa Hagood), grandfather Blanchard (PaPa Hagood), great-aunt Lucy Beasley, uncles John Haithcock and Pete Haithcock, and aunt Pil Joo (PJ) Haithcock.

Dylan had great love for everyone in his family and showed it by making everyone smile, lighting up the room with his sense of humor. His life will be celebrated on Saturday, May 16 at 2pm at the Davis Funeral Home in High Point, NC by Pastor Deon Parker. Family will receive friends following the service until 4pm. I remember visiting MaMa and talking to Dylan. He always made me laugh and reminded me of his dad. He was a special twinkle in Geneva's eye when we sat at her table to eat together. So sorry for your loss. Gary and Judy

Dylan was about the best cousin one could ask for. He was always a hoot to be around. I remember, fondly, our times as children. These memories are some of my greatest memories as a young child. We used to play with the toys in Mama Haithcock’s hallway closet…no mater where she lived. We would spend the night at Mama Hagood’s house and would pick locust shells off the trees in disgust and awe. We loved spending the night at Aunt Lucy’s. She spoiled us to no end and we never started the night without a dress up party with jewelry and dresses…yes this was always Dylan’s time to shine! We shared so many laughs and adventures together. From taking long walks on the train tracks, hunting down Aunt Lucy for lunch on the town, to having supper with the whole family in the evening. Dylan was always there to make you smile, laugh, giggle and get into trouble. Dylan, you made our family complete. You will be loved and cherished for all the days to come.

Dylan had so much love for family. I remember that when I called with my engagement news, Dylan cried happy tears with me. He was so excited to be a part of my wedding- he even offered to sing Chris Brown for us. He is so much fun to be around, and I will sorely miss laughing with him at our family events.
